A long waited Vday dinner with booking in advance. I must say that the online booking system is quite well established. It is very user friendly and quite thoughtful on the reminders. There was no fancy decoration for Vday and all customers must order one Vday set (no matter if you are here with a family or not). Roaster scallops

First, the Roaster scallops. Looking at it makes me frown for a bit already. The scallop was rather dry. It was chewy because it was overcooked. The freshness of the scallop itself was gone (assuming that it was not quite fresh. Seasoning was rather disappointing (perhaps the bacon was there to lift the taste but it was overwhelming). I guess it was vday and they have just set it under the heater for a while and hoping everything to be served quickly.   

Lobster Risotto

Second, the Lobster risotto. First looks of the risotto itself, indeed quite moist. While trying to preserve the original looks of the lobster, it seems like they have just slammed the lobster meat on top of the risotto. Plating itself needs a bit of work. 
Lobster meat was fresh, but surely boiled in unseasoned broth. There was slight leftover lobster taste in it. 
The risotto itself, overcooked, it was mushy and soggy with little chewiness. Looking over on the neighbor's table, their risotto was in a total different state (less soggy). I guess a little more quality control would be needed. That makes me question if a food expediter was there?
Chargrilled Steak

Third, the Chargrilled Steak.  The looks and the smell of it once it was set on the table was splendid. The first time of tonight that I actually felt like I was eating in a signature restaurant that made me drool. The steak was juicy, medium rare was done perfectly, seasoned properly, and finished with perfection. Credits go to the steak.

Lastly, the desert. I am not much of a desert fan, but the brownie was quite a surprise to me. there was a nice balance between the sweetness and the caramel ice cream on top.

After thought: If there are other choices, I would take them over Jamie's. No plans in returning.
