爸媽住西營盤,自從地鐵通車之後,回去探佢地就更方便。不過老人家喜歡吃中菜,次次聚餐都係連鎖式酒樓,食物唔貴但略嫌行貨,感覺食茶餐廳都無咁嬲。後來聽爸爸講,第二街東邊街交界(Panda上少少)新開一間中菜水準好高,主廚以前做過阿一鮑魚及嶺南樓,而家自立門戶,佢已經食了幾晚小菜晚飯,我又跟佢去試下。老人家喜歡吃蒸魚。呢度平時menu無蒸魚,間中有「是日海鮮」,例如涼瓜炆倉魚,今日就有蒸石蚌,火候係大酒樓級數。另一個招牌菜﹣醬燒牛肋條(HK$98)係慢煮心機之作。我好喜歡食牛,食了大半碟。平時我唔喜歡飲例湯,但今日例湯(燉湯)合掌瓜煲豬𦟌好清甜,無味精,原來係加入了日月魚調味。呢度仲有其他套餐,因為店面較細,大部分檯係2-4人,菜式亦大多是2-4人分量,不過性價比好高(東江鹽焗雞HK$85/半隻,炒粉麵係$55左右),同茶餐廳定價差不多但水準高好多。大廚亦做慣宴客菜,爸爸已訂了一日試私房菜、另一日母親節做節。
