To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 以前呢間鋪好好食呢加真係超難食加變壞食材,生的蒸餃,再加臭的隔夜片皮鴨可以放棄美心集團,好得人驚叫咗信用卡優惠套餐成個餐都好難食,再加上最後酒釀丸子甜品充滿清明節嘅氣息,只有一陣濃烈的燒酒味什麼味道也沒有不過最少呢一樣嘢係冇變壞以後都唔會黎明顯係個主廚走咗,呢間野然之後搵個侍應求其煮一餐出嚟,啲人去幫襯一次,然後就無下次,你地以後唔好幫襯啦笨,佢地都唔care果種態度七點到叫八點交枱,你唔叫我到想走人啦
