To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 住家樓下開了新酒樓,遂相約鄰舍晚飯去。閒日的晚上,「潮庭」依然不乏人流,未知那是源於新芧廁三日香,還是美心集團旗下的餐廳自有質素的保證。碩大的酒樓居然也坐得滿八成,在這往宅區兼之偏僻的閣樓庭檯竟能達致這樣的營業額,老闆定當會心微笑了! 這一家「潮庭」位於商場的閣樓,原本開的是大型連鎖補習社,後來商場大裝修遂變成了一酒家。這閣樓餐廳只此一家,其餘的位置分別是停車場區與扶手梯直上住宅平台的玻璃門。陝小的門口與內進寬敞的空間䢛然有異,在假日早午茶旺市的時段,一堆一堆的人群往往積壓在門前窄迫的前堂中,直阻礙樓上居民進出扶手電梯。結果,管理公司需調派人手,在人多的時候幫忙維持秩序。把補習社換成食肆,究竟是除笨有精,還是吃不完兜著走的愚徑?作為樓上居民,小的當然高興有更多美食的選擇,然而自家更關心的還是酒家鄰近民居,會否引來更多的蛇蟲鼠蟻,影響住宅的衞生環境?然而作為兩袖青風、無氈無扇的小小小蟻民,一隻手掌打向石牆,得到的只是自討苦吃的痛楚。物競天澤,慢慢學習,打落牙齒和血吞。既然餐廳進駐已是改變不來的現實,多光顧品嚐正好平衡一下骨子裡不太舒爽的心理。 老饕朋友經常吃、吃、吃,來到「潮庭」如數家珍

老饕朋友經常吃、吃、吃,來到「潮庭」如數家珍,不用翻看餐牌已能道出不同的美饌佳餚。因著自家與老伴的口味,咱們在「潮庭」經常也是吃著相同的菜式,這次由友人發辦,正好嚐嚐新點。

老伴未至,咱們先叫了一道麻醬茄子作前菜。自從小的煮飯的經驗日積月累,一些不太覆雜的小菜也會嘗試烹煮,而麻醬茄子直是小的初入門時經常製弄的款式。「潮庭」的麻醬茄子先經油炸,讓茄子保留完美的鮮紫色澤,小的講求健康與方便純粹地入鑊蒸,效果當然比之遜色。至於麻醬方面餐廳卻沒有小的般豪氣,只稍稍地在茄子上加上點點,對於小的這個好醬之徒而言當然不夠。由於茄子非常吸油,小小的麻醬未能淹蓋茄子豐盈的油氣,感覺有點過於油膩。一道前菜以後,豐富的主菜出場了!

小的最欣賞的杏汁白肺湯依舊水準一流,不過這回豬肺略呈粉紅色而非正常的乳白色。老火湯褒餚的豬肺理應沒可能不熟,咱們也說不出所以然,卻顧不得那麼多,只要好吃便嚥。

梅菜扣肉絕對是魔鬼的誘惑,長方形深褐色的一碟一層梅菜一層肥腩地相間互連。用湯匙舀起一顆,未入口已令罪疚感陡然攀升。然而當一啖滋味的梅菜扣肉入口,菜式的鹹甜度調效得剛剛好,梅菜不顯太鹹,還透出尚算新鮮青嫩的氣息,扣肉鬆軟綿滑,醬汁完完全全地混和沁透,入口即融。那一份極上的滋味,立讓小的之罪意全消了!

潮式香煎鯧魚件一向不太合小的之脾胃,總覺得這道菜色有點太鹹,而餐廳一般都只用雪藏貨,吃不出魚的鮮味。配搭而來的沙拉醬便正正屬掩飾雪氣之恩物。滷水掌翼鵝片不過不失,比慣常所吃略為清淡,不知是尚未入味還是廚師刻意弄得淡一點,要浸淫於蒜醋中才能提升味蕾的感受。

煎蠔烙滋香惹味,蠔仔的份量相當足,以至每一啖都有豐富的海洋氣息,點一些魚露正好修飾蠔仔的腥臊味,又能提升蠔烙的鮮香層次。沙茶牛肉炒芥蘭一貫地有水準,甜品紅棗糕沒有太濃的棗味,比較配合小的之脾胃。
