I’m pretty sure this comment won’t be read by Gordon himself but I really like to give feedback to his restaurant. I have made a reservation for my wife’s birthday on Oct 26 night at 7pm, first I’m not talking about the waiters’ services, but the most important thing was the hygiene of the environment, after I have ordered some food at upstairs balcony area, I saw there is a rat around 6, 7 inches big at the corner crawling around, it come in and out and have several times trying to run to my table, when the waiter ask if I’m okay I signal to her with my eyes said “not okay” and I pointed to the rat which have crawled out already, I didn’t say it out cause I don’t wanna ruin my wife’s birthday dinner, however and so surprisingly that the waiter said she knows it, and that’s why they have used some chairs to blocked that area, but they have nothing to do with it she said, I was totally shock and I feel so disgusting at that moment, how can a famous chef restaurant can allow this and still serving the food looks like you guys have no problem at all? Come on, it is a rat in the restaurant and now Hong Kong government was telling everyone that there are disease contagious from mouse to human, it was the craziest experience I had for a dinner. And I requested to move downstairs however they didn’t treat me nice, and they said downstairs was only for drinks, however I have insist and they gave me the high table instead. For the rest of the dinner I am not happy as well, cause I have prepared a big bag of gift and a cake for my wife, but when I asked to checked they just dump the big bag beside my chair, I have told them when I first got there and I said when I asked to check please bring me the cake and the gift to my wife, but when they dumped me the bag of gift they don’t even prepare the cake yet without saying a word, so my wife saw the gift and asked what was that, the whole plan was ruined.
Gordon, I went to your restaurant because I’d like to try your food, however this experience makes me wont go there anymore and I would definitely not recommend it to my friends, I knew you will probably not care about one of your many restaurants, but I think it is something that you should take care of.
