To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 因為工作的緣故常常會來金鐘,金鐘 “搵食”艱難眾所周知,所以不時會來添馬公園的I-bakery,喜歡這裡的環境,不用擠無須排,100元左右的價位,在金鐘也不算貴,不過真正令我欣賞這家店的原因是因為看到員工執著和進步。上星期一個人光顧,點了蟹肉意粉,雖然最上面的只是蟹柳,但意粉內卻混了真的蟹肉,汁有點多,感覺有點像蟹粉羹,但反而沖淡了鮮味。意粉卻是一貫的水準,是我喜歡的帶有咬感的口感。跟餐的蕃茄湯,淡淡的蕃茄味,微酸帶辣。餐包脆脆地,但本身味道很淡,配湯或者牛油比較好。可惜沒有果醬,對於不吃牛油的我算是小小的不足吧。隔了幾天,帶了朋友一起去,點了鴨胸焗蝴蝶粉和自家製香草醬拌意粉。前者的蝴蝶粉邊上有點硬,還好鴨胸很腍很惹味。後者自家製的香草醬很香,就算是素食也不會覺得淡而無味,配上彩椒﹑蘆筍﹑小蕃茄等蔬菜,清新可口。跟餐的碗豆湯很香濃,感覺碗豆下了很多,每口都是滿滿豆香。常以為一間社企,雖然承擔了社會責任,但首先是一家企業。要想成功,必然不能該客人抱著做慈善的心光顧,因為慈善只可偶一為之,一門生意需要的是不斷回頭的客人。I-bakery的員工雖然是弱能人士,但從不因此懈怠,點餐時會再三核實

常以為一間社企,雖然承擔了社會責任,但首先是一家企業。要想成功,必然不能該客人抱著做慈善的心光顧,因為慈善只可偶一為之,一門生意需要的是不斷回頭的客人。I-bakery的員工雖然是弱能人士,但從不因此懈怠,點餐時會再三核實以免遺漏|有時客人想幫他們端餐,他們也會堅持要自已把工作做好。這一年多來看著他們的進步,越來越喜歡這店了。
