To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

聽聞觀塘這間「珠記冰室」以前在灣仔開店,水準OK,這天經過便試吓。傳聞呢度請了以往曾效力「澳牛」的師傅,即本叫個特餐試吓。個重點炒蛋外觀上遠不及澳牛,但實際吃落比外表濕潤,幾滑口,有澳牛七、八成水準。至於個沙爹牛肉腸仔通粉有些人或許覺得偏硬,但我剛好愛吃硬身一點的,因此可接受。其實這裏食物的水準已比想像中好,但要像澳牛般特登去食倒未夠班,只算屬四平八穩罷了。何況,即使澳牛的炒蛋也有水準飄忽的日子,所以去這類冰室不抱期望的話,反而會有希望。
