To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今晚預祝國慶,成40幾枱圍枱,超熱鬧多人。這裡環境都唔錯,光線明亮,唔算多柱子,坐位都可以接受,服務員就普通態度啦,可能人多,有些人又真係比較麻煩⋯⋯所以佢地耐性都算唔差。第一道:叉燒好好食,乳豬唔會好肥;雞無食過、鵝都無食;橡筋就好爽脆西蘭花好食,腍腍地;蝦好爽,無乜雪藏味,炸蟹鉗:好熱騰騰、香口;加酸甜味好夾🤤🤤好靚,有髮菜,豆苗好翠綠、不過油了點,瑤柱都幾好最喜歡個湯,好飲!好足料大魚係有點鞋,普通啦!雞好滑,又係油了點飯硬了點、雲吞無食細細個,有蛋黃,好香好軟又夠熱!椰子片影響了滑度,不會太甜,唔錯!
