To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 年三十晚同屋企人食團年飯,唔想去CWB、TST同MK人逼逼,就揀左中環冇咁多人,原來都唔係,果晚都有9成滿。今次食得好少野,因為大家都唔肚餓唔敢多叫。頭盤要素鵝,個人較喜歡京式個隻素鵝,冇咁油膩熱氣,而佢又做得唔錯。砂鍋雲吞雞-只剛剛好分到5碗,想再添都冇,湯本身幾甜,雲吞就唔得,個皮好易爛,而且雲吞饀舊肉好實。咕嚕肉-肥瘦適中、唔太厚粉又炸得幾脆,不過差了d火喉,始終不及大排檔。蔥爆羊肉-蔥味唔夠香,而羊肉又乾又鞋。松鼠桂魚-全條魚都炸得外脆內嫩,尤其是魚頭同魚尾,脆到pop pop聲的,只嫌d薦汁太杰。其實條魚本來應該好早上台,我見都傳菜阿姐一早擺左出o黎遲遲唔上台,仲用蓋冚實,d魚肉肯定腍晒,之後上台時我要求換過一碟,個靚仔waiter竟然肯。我相信佢係重新煮過的,因為我o地差唔多食到最後,這條魚先至o黎。北京炒拉麵-好唔掂,D麵好腍腍,完全不似拉麵。甜品係拔絲蘋果,浸拔絲個碗冰水唔係普通水,係碗忌廉汽水,所以食落有少少忌廉香味,不過外層係實唔係脆,而入面d蘋果好粉唔得爽。呢間貴過其他北京樓,但水準不是比其他好,只得裝修真係唔錯,連d餐具都唔同款。不過如果食裝修的話,我唔駛o黎呢
