To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

又到聖誕~ 上星期來到尖沙嘴廣東道皇家太平洋酒店內的Pierside Bar & Restaurant 堤岸酒吧及餐廳,齊齊歡聚感恩節兼預祝聖誕節。皇家太平洋酒店今年聖誕以聖誕老人村為主題。酒店內各餐廳的自助餐、半自助餐及聖誕大餐都以北歐芬蘭傳統為主題,就連節日限定的雞尾酒也選用芬蘭伏特加調配。Red Finnish ($72),Finlandia Vodka加上草莓白蘭地、青檸汁、石榴汁等調配。據bartender介紹,這款雞尾酒的香甜果香會較突出,口味會較適合女生。而我就選了黃色的Midnight Sun ($72)。這款雞尾酒以Finlandia Vokda加上熱情果汁及橙汁等調配,甜中帶酸,較清新。這夜先出場是帶子三重奏。在最頂層的是冷盤scallop carpaccio配三文魚籽及松露醋汁,中層是煎帶子配煎鵝肝,而最底層是椰菜花帶子濃湯。一款食材變出3種不同口味與食感的前菜,賣相亦精緻。接著是紅蝦燴南瓜意大利飯。飯粒軟硬適中,粒粒飯粒滿滿的吸收了香甜的南瓜蓉。配上香脆的杏仁片及鹹香巴馬臣芝士,好吃。Thanksgiving 兼聖誕大餐,當然要有主角火雞才夠應節盡興啦~皇家太平

火雞肉就算胸肉部份仍相當juicy嫩滑,配上帶微酸果香的清新紅莓汁,多吃一點也不覺得膩呢~ 這個火雞 x 糯米飯的中西合壁配搭與味道實在太有驚喜了!

大家除了可於皇家太平洋酒店在12月24日及25日供應的自助餐時段吃到這2款慢煮聖誕火雞外,另外也可以向酒店預訂及安排delivery送遞,供應期只至12月25日。(送遞服務收費視乎地區,由$200至$400。)  2款慢烤聖誕火雞同價,9-10公斤火雞每隻$1,280,而4.5-5公斤火雞每隻$750。如果是約10位朋友的party,相信1隻細的4.5-5公斤火雞都應該夠吃了,因為大家的聖誕party大餐還會安排其他食物嘛。

Glögi ($78),以果香紅酒,紅葡萄汁,丁香,五香粉漿果,橙皮,伏特加及玉桂棒等調配煲熱,飲完由喉嚨開始已經感到熱起來,味道比起一般的mulled wine更辛辣和濃郁。這客甜品及餐後酒為大家這聖誕氣氛濃濃的一夜劃上完美的句號~
