To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日約咗我-班朋友一齊來北京樓食晚飯,名副其實食出傳統菜風味,-入內環境裝潢風格,餐具、桌椅及制服都令人懷舊香港。服務員態度和和藹些更添加美滿。Peking Garden 北京樓創立於 1978 年的北京樓,是美心中菜歷史最悠久及最具口碑食府,以傳統的北京填鴨聞名香港及海外,屢獲殊榮。食完感慨一番,現在的北京樓真的變得很普通,食物味道整體感覺還算好吃,主角片皮鴨切得太厚太多肉;皮也不夠脆變得肥膩大大減分,至於手拉麵表演者太過敷衍,連外國遊客都吸引不了。
