To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

絕少行過積存街一帶, 只知這條街晚市十分熱鬧, 平日則較清靜, 今日要到訪是大圍區唯一一間冰室 - 幸運冰室。聽人說現時的幸運冰室曾裝修過, 所以入到去會覺得似茶餐廳多於舊式冰室。不過地方不是太大, 座位排得較密, 如果是午市來, 可能會無位。我隨便找一張卡座坐下, 看看餐牌, 點了一份常餐: 牛油多士, 火腿奄列, 五香肉丁麵及凍檸檬茶 ($26)。食物好快就送到來, 牛油多士, 剛烘起, 加上溶了的牛油, 十分美味。火腿奄列及五香肉丁麵都是一般貨色, 沒有太多驚喜。此店於早上五時便開門營業, 要吃個特早早餐, 可以考慮這裡。
