大角咀多食肆就人所共知,但原來裏面都有隱世的私房中菜,除了散叫外,還有圍菜,款式很多,而且有多款古法美食,如京酥國寶鴨等。我們先點了一個冬瓜薏米南北杏煲豬尾骨,一大碟的煲湯料連湯一起送上,可見用料十足,加上大量皂山薏米眉豆等,令湯帶點杰身,味道清甜,完全無落味精。小食要了椒鹽豆腐,豆腐炸至金黃香脆,中間保持嫩滑,正好一口一粒,是一個不錯的小食。自製果醋果肉生炒骨酸味完全不嗆喉,味道天然,蘋果醋香味較清新自然,加上用了新鮮的黑毛豬骨,豬肉味濃郁而且無豬騷味,表面更炸至香脆,帶點拔絲的效果。黃金蟹以美侖美奐的托盤盛載,令整個黃金蟹更加高貴,蟹殼表面沾滿了自家調製的咸蛋王,蟹殼炸至香脆且易咬開,蟹肉鮮甜,蛋王香惹味。最後餐廳送上香甜的馬豆糕作甜品。
