To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 十月份又到食蟹嘅季節,響open rice買陶源大閘蟹放題劵星期六日位位$558,Mastercard 再平一百蚊。六點去去到已經有五六圍排隊入坐,大閘蟹的確吸引香港人。安排入座都快嘅一開始就出去拎點心,點知都係包類同糕類為主。而任食嘅片皮鴨竟然未準備,令人失望終於分到鴨,都拎到五片但食落好難,開頭拎黎頂肚係可以,但唔會再拎。每人一客嘅鮑魚,個鮑魚同個汁都可以,始終都係酒樓吧。每人一粒蟹粉小籠包, 有質素。六點坐到六點八,一隻蟹都未見,問一問服務員,佢話漏咗單,即刻去廚房拎左碟蟹出黎頂住先。依碟係花雕蒸蟹。蟹的確係多蟹膏,清一色圓肚臍依款係鹽焗,食落乾身得濟,蒸嘅比較好食。陶源出名嘅壽包依到都有得叫但又係等好耐。總結,佢話就話食兩小時其實坐幾耐都得。但初頭個半鐘蟹係上得好慢,係要不停催。到尾食到你唔食。 依間放題好適合愛大閘蟹之人。
