Went to 滬川客棧 at Tai Koo Shing Food Republic.There is an afternoon tea menu which is almost just the same as the set lunch menu and half the price of it.However, the fact that I did not have lunch until 14:40pmmade me ordered the set lunch which cost me HKD 46.You can pick one out of 5 choices from two columns.I picked 紅燒獅子頭 red fire minced meat balls & 醉雞 drunken chicken.I selected vegetable with rice but they later informed me thatthey sold out all rice so I had to change to Shanghai noddle whi

I picked 紅燒獅子頭 red fire minced meat balls & 醉雞 drunken chicken.
I selected vegetable with rice but they later informed me that
they sold out all rice so I had to change to Shanghai noddle which
was also nice but the portion was not really enough for a young guy like me.
The 獅子頭 was a little bit cold and the oyster sauce was not concentrate enough.
The 醉雞 must be either they mixed up with other thing else but I did not see other
selection for chicken dish on the menu so it must be their misrepresentation.
It was so salty with the tint of chilie sauce. Overall, the portion was too small
and the chicken was too thin and the sauce was not any related to wine or drunken
taste etc.
Did not impress me at all.
