To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 友人邀約一眾好姊妹到其位於南丫島居所敘舊,我們打算先到索罟灣吃海鮮,再步行往榕樹灣順便遠足,有益身心。落船一刻才知原來今天是天后寶誕,整個索罟灣都人山人海,充滿熱鬧的小島風情。索罟灣是漁港,天后廟亦在海邊,加上沿岸有不少海鮮酒家,遊客眾多,因此天后誕來得十分熱鬧。這裏的天后廟規模不算大,但拜神的人卻絡繹不絕,而廟前廣場建了戲棚,所餘空間不多。原來進入古廟也有其規定,遊客先入古廟「添香油」祈福,然後取三支香到外面油燈燃點,廟祝說燃點了的香不能拿進廟內,只能在廟外插起,之後就可入內祈福或求籤。 為免人多擠廹,婦女兵團決定提早吃飯,目標就鎖定了這好評如潮的「天虹海鮮酒家」。我們被安排坐在一張近海邊的四人桌,點了一個 4人餐 ($880),就悠閒地等著享受我們的美食。牛油焗龍蝦 -- 據聞大當初研製這道龍蝦菜式時,試用了十多種牛油,用了 6 個月時間才能滿意推廣,咬落去感覺龍蝦肉牛油味濃郁,食味清爽,加上肉質彈牙,每一啖都吃出龍蝦的鮮味金粉銀絲蒸元貝 -- 金粉是指蒜蓉,而銀絲當然就是粉絲了。元貝都算大隻兼新鮮,加上鋪了勁多的蒜蓉和粉絲於元貝面,吃到口腔滿是蒜蓉味,可惜元貝有點黐売,吃得小小

豉椒炒蟶子 -- 蟶子用上大量豉椒來炒,每隻都新鮮爽口,雖然並非大大隻的蟶子王,但味道香濃又惹味,加上辣味十足,如果我們四個女子不是食力不足的話,肯定要加碗白飯來撈汁

陳皮蒸大連鮑魚 -- 套餐鮑魚選用8至10頭的大連鮮鮑,雖然細細隻,但每隻都鋪滿薑葱和陳皮絲用來辟走鮑魚腥味,吃得出鮑魚的鮮味,入口頗有嚼勁,味道確實不俗

清蒸遊水石班 -- 石班不算好大條,但條魚本身夠新鮮,而且蒸煮時間掌握得剛剛好,魚肉鮮嫩,味道鮮鮮甜甜,所以我一向認為清蒸是最棒的吃魚方法

紅燒乳鴿 -- 一直都誤以為這套餐內的乳鴿是有 2 隻的,原來四人只可分一隻乳鴿,還好的是這乳鴿不算太細小,加上色澤油亮,鴿皮不裂不皺不焦,肉質鮮嫩,用來下酒伴飯,老少鹹宜

郊外靚油菜 -- 油菜只是蒜蓉炒白菜仔,雖然炒得不算香口兼且蒜味不足,不過也是時候吃點菜蔬清清腸胃的了

天虹炒飯 -- 炒飯其實只是普通的揚州炒飯,但飯炒得夠乾身,而且材料都頗豐富,包括有蝦、叉燒、蛋、葱花等,吃來半點油膩感都沒有

精美水果盆 -- 水果盆是西瓜和哈蜜瓜雙併,吃來鮮甜美味

結賬連加一、茶芥、啤酒及罐裝汽水共 $1060. 趁這多雲但還未下雨的天氣,是時候出發往榕樹灣了。
