To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 見今日餓餓地 又想食燒肉 見太興俾人裝修關左門一個星期諗住幫襯下 就去太興旺角雅蘭分店買個外賣返公司食啦 $77 燒肉飯連杯凍檸水在等候期間見到燒味師傅處理堂食切雞燒肉飯 見到燒肉望落外皮雖然黑d 但望落都叫做脆咁我就諗我果份應該都脆脆地 見處理我個外賣燒肉飯時將d頭搭尾既肉 切出黎再將一塊望落都叫脆脆地既皮搭上去 我都覺得還好 起碼都叫做望落脆脆地 之後師傅將啲垃圾部位全部掉晒落個飯度皮一望就已經係好淋果種 肥膏多過肉 完全唔知係咩部位 咁我就同師傅反映:我都聽同事講你哋外賣燒味永遠俾最差嘅部位,問佢可唔可以俾好d 師傅話唔夠燒肉 建議我將唔靚一大部份拼其他咁我就轉左燒肉拼切雞飯 當我滿心歡喜嘅時候見到師傅將靚果少少燒肉換左切雞 實在讓人覺得非常恐怖 處理手法十分低劣$77既燒肉飯嘅燒肉質素可以差過街市$15一盒燒肉飯 而更恐怖嘅事師傅竟然罔顧顧客要求 千方百計想將啲垃圾部位送俾叫外賣嘅客人將靚少少既部位留俾堂食嘅客人 價格一樣 是否有雙重標準?不多說 去圖 讓大家不要再去太興買外賣燒味
