To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

買了 Delifrance 的團購半價 coupon, 今天便到沙田正街的Delifrance cafe 喫下午茶。選了$34的迷你法式拼盤，當中有迷你鮮蝦三文治、迷你白汁三文魚三文治、法式小蛋糕及迷你蜜桃撻，還有香濃的咖啡一杯。當中最喜歡的當然是蜜桃撻，吃了十多年，味道仍未有太多改變。其他的沙津三文治全是冰箱裡的現貨，屬流水式作業，看不到精心的製作，冰冰冷冷，即使是最近吃過的意粉或天使麵亦是冷麵淋上熱湯或白汁，沒有了即叫即做熱誠。我理解團購造成的壓力，亦慨嘆 Delifrance 已今非昔比。無論如何，用$19便可吃到四款美食和即磨咖啡是可觀的優惠，但優惠結束後還留得住多少顧客? 我便寧可嘗試新晉的食肆了!
