To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

放假之便，本想好好嘆茶，選了這家五星酒店的粵菜廳。平心而論，食物可以，價錢也不便宜。但接待服務卻奇差，平日早上11:45一開門就到，只得我們和前面一位客人，他只是查詢日後訂位事宜，接待員只顧斷斷續續答覆，攪了三、四分鐘，望也不望我們一眼，完全零意願和意識先處理久候的我們入座。我們稍一催促，就一句頂五句，到經理出來，果然「名師出高徒」，再回敬你八句，總之他們有自家規矩。所以，如果你有被虐的特殊癖好，應該滿意，否則的話，避之則吉。
