I ordered takeaway of 車仔麵 with 蘿蔔、豬大腸、豬紅 and 米線 as noodle. The total was $43. I got home 30 minutes after receiving my order and was anxious to see if the noodles would be clumped together or not. To my surprise, the noodles must have been coated with some sort of oil as it did not stick together into one big lump as other noodle shops sometimes do. The 米線 was rather short with 1/4 of it being 1-2 inch pieces but the texture was still springy and chewy and not mushy at all. The soup was like any

The 米線 was rather short with 1/4 of it being 1-2 inch pieces but the texture was still springy and chewy and not mushy at all. The soup was like any other 車仔麵 with 腩汁清湯, with intense flavors.
The radish was in big pieces and the middle was not fully soaked in the braising soup which was a bit sad as I just had 永年車仔麵 a few days ago and their radish is also soaked to perfection. Albeit this restaurant is much cheaper and local.
The pig intestines was given very generously with 4-5 big pieces, but the meat did lack texture as it was all very soft. The flavor and fattiness was still present and delicious but I would prefer a harder exterior with a nice chew.
The pig blood was not as flavorful as 永年 but still able to taste the flavor of it as you swallow it down, it was also definitely bigger in size and just as smooth. They gave around 5-6 pieces which is very generous.
The worker there was also very nice and helpful as I ordered via their QR code and was a bit confused towards the end. Overall, good food, good service and much cheaper option of delicious 車仔麵. They also have other noodle soup combinations such as ramen and curry fish balls.
Post
