To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今天要在荃灣坐巴士去元朗，諗住到路德圍食碗米線才再搭車；點知去到路德圍，見到出名嗰幾間米線門外排滿等位的人，我唔想嘥時間等位，於是入了這間唔使等位嘅好食雲南米線。點了一碗酸辣米線配炸醬，滷大腸及海膽蟹籽丸；覺得唔夠酸辣，滷大腸唔夠淋，米線都係麻麻地，同樣價錢應該可以在另一間食得好啲。
