To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 上星期帶個老友去lamma island食海鮮,所以之前,睇下D食評,研究下lamma island邊間食海鮮價錢合理又好食. 結果想試下威記.點知原來佢地裝修中,環境自然麻麻地, 不過都有開. 入到去點了四道菜.1, 清蒸海上鮮(盲鰽) -D魚蒸到啱啱好, 魚肉鮮甜, 新鮮! , 2, 清蒸扇貝兩隻 -呢兩隻扇貝都幾大隻, 又係蒸到恰到好處, 粉絲和扇貝好鮮甜3, 白灼海生蝦半斤 -半斤足, 好老實, 不過新鮮度一般, D蝦好腥,如果D蝦大番少少,就好 la, (其實應該叫豉油皇炒蝦ma), 真失策!4, 豉椒炒蜆例 - 蝶蜆炒得好入味, D汁好正!份量足唯一要彈是D飯太軟, 落太多水) , 我係唔鍾意食軟飯ga.總結來說, 它是一間實而不華的食店! 我老友都讚好,抵食!
