To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 和朋友好久無食北京菜,就訂咗北京樓做我哋girls gathering 的地點由於我哋都係餓底,迅速點菜!雞絲粉皮,好多青瓜絲。。。但剛剛好,唔膩鴨舌,無骨的,好好味,配上芥辣也很好湯就要咗個,海鮮雜錦湯,唔知點解覺得有d似雲吞雞湯的感覺要咗個上湯莧菜,好健康肉抹+叉子包(唔記得正確名稱)。。一般,偏油。。。又食唔晒d肉抹當然要叫片皮鴨啦,好juicy 連包咗幾份海鮮粉絲煲,呢個真係有驚喜,個味調得好好,夠干身小籠包,不過不失,個皮有d厚,湯汁唔夠多,下次唔會叫甜品叫做拔絲香蕉同西米布丁可能因為我怕甜,所以覺得一般但值得一提係中途有人表演拉麵,d遊客真係會狂拍手,所以如果要招呼遊客,北京樓真係一個好選擇
