To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

家住北角，發現最近新開的這間粉面店，一路都沒有試，上openrice也找不到評論，今晚經過，終於忍不住要一試。老闆非常有熱誠介紹店內招牌，事事親力親為，可以從他的工作態度中看到他對小店的用心和熱誠，一定要試店內招牌牛三寶，墨魚丸，豬手等，準備明天再來試其他招牌推介。難得的是感受到小店的人情味，好開心揾到一間甘好吃，又近，價錢又親民的街坊小店
