To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

有一日要到灣仔處理一些私務，之前有些空檔。在寒風下，肚子總覺得空空的。一想，便來了這裡。入到店內，叫了一碗魚腩粥。等了一會便來了。熱騰騰的粥，蒸汽一直升上來。吃一口粥，鮮甜的粥底，配上新鮮的魚腩，感覺很溫暖。附上的豉油，裡面有薑蔥，跟魚腩一起吃，十分美味。在寒冬下能吃到這種幸福的感覺，應該感到慶幸。
