吃過林昌記的魚蛋後,步至荃興徑一帶,這邊的食肆選擇更多,很難決擇。這時,老公被一般食物香氣吸引,抬頭一看,正是剛入選米芝蓮推介的十八座狗仔粉。狗仔粉,其實就是粉仔,是舊時代的街頭小吃,以下欄之物煮成,是港人的集體回憶。  店子不大,清一式長桌的關係必需搭桌,反正都是街頭小吃,不用立食已是萬幸了吧。看看餐牌,都是大路的街頭小食,只有狗仔粉、火鴨脾、火鴨翅較有特色。  先來黑白炸丸($13),是豬肉丸、貢丸、牛丸、墨魚丸的組合。即炸的關係新鮮熱辣,脆身之餘油份也少。由於來貨的關係,味道沒有很特別,一試無妨。  細狗仔粉($20)上桌時已撒上蔥花菜甫,粉仔十分粗身,長短一致,是機製而非手工搓制的,風味稍欠,口感尚算稔滑。湯頭以冬菇、蝦米、骨湯、豬油渣熬煮,味道帶點鮮甜。這狗仔粉論味道和口感都只是中規中矩,惟有寄望桌上的菜甫能有更好表現吧! 只可惜菜甫該有的咸鮮爽脆還欠一點點, 而辣菜甫則以辣粉炒成,只能為粉仔添辣而已。 老公愛吃鴨脾,因此選了翅滾火鴨脾(下脾)($30)。$30就能吃上肥厚的火鴨脾確是吸引。來貨的鴨脾以以熱燙火鴨翅翻熱,令鴨脾掛上湯汁且帶點潤澤感,翅湯鴨香挺濃。鴨肉脂肪不多,

平心而論,十八座狗仔粉雖是向傳統粉仔致敬之作,但水準跟真正的粉仔仍有段距離
回憶中最美味的粉仔,是在屯門鮮寶食店嚐到的,但最近已易名為粉仔檔,是時候重遊舊地了。
