To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

小朋友食完夜晚咳到嘔，餐牌無標示辣的食物

前兩日午飯時間一家大細去點了一個兒童餐和一個墨西哥茄汁雞肉腸飯。最驚喜是兩碟都是辣，最過份是兒童餐的肉醬意粉都是辣的！因為餐牌完全無標示到什麼食物會是辣，最初我不知道食物食辣的，侍應生下單時亦沒有告知，待我女吃了好幾口後才告知我“食物很辣”。跟他們說，那個像經理的人就說“墨西哥茄汁就是辣的”。我回道“小朋友是絕不能吃辣的，你不可假設每位客人都知道吧” 如果是你應該標記好在餐牌上” 。特別他們是有款待小朋友的，下位小朋友吃完又不適了。我女吃完咳得很厲害，晚上還咳到嘔至床上感覺這家讓餐廳的員工就是非常不細心的我不推薦這家餐廳給家庭食客！
