To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

同很久沒見的朋友食餐飯，到了佢屋企樓下的茶餐廳食，八點鐘來到仍要等位，等兩張枱就到了。等位期間就睇定餐牌，揀定食咩先，小菜套餐包餐湯，餐飲同白飯，價錢由五十幾蚊起，幾抵食喎。是晚例湯係蓮藕綠豆豬骨湯，湯頭清甜幾好飲喎，仲食左舊煲到淋哂嘅蓮藕，正。餐飲要了凍檸茶走甜，夠凍茶又夠濃。小菜其一點了沙拉豬扒，酸酸甜甜夠開胃，味道有點像京都骨，但用上豬扒，啖啖肉配上菠蘿同洋蔥，豬扒有很多塊，沒有數，但兩個人食好似食極都仲有咁，哈哈。小菜其二點了香煎芙蓉蛋角，煎得金黃色很吸引，內裏就是叉燒，蝦仁，芽菜，韭黃等，蛋咬落香口酥脆，食落不油膩，水準之作。跟餐的白飯大大碗，粒粒米軟硬適中。小菜大碟又好味，朋友果然無介紹錯。
