To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 南丫島行山一日遊,除了帶父母同來行山,另一原因是為食海鮮而來,記得每次來南丫島必會食海鮮來夠滿足,由榕樹灣向索罟灣出發行只需一個半小時左右,我們這次較特別要回到起榕樹灣食海鮮晚上才離開南丫島2010年10月19日難得天朗氣清的日子最宜效外遊1) 椒鹽鮮魷對魷魚喜歡程度極低,試了一件又吃得甚得意,雖然是椒鹽炸但仍吃得出鮮味十足,必食之選2) 蒜蓉豆豉蒸象拔蚌與蒜蓉同蒸似乎已是不錯的煮法了,可是結果未如理想,太韌了,咀嚼很久才吞下,過了火的海鮮真浪費3) 蒜蓉蒸扇貝大家一致讚好扇貝是最好味,灑滿蒜蓉同蒸味道鮮不太咸,配合無味道的粉絲最恰當4) 椒鹽賴尿蝦以椒鹽炸賴尿蝦必有原因,而這種食法最佳最有避風塘風味,蝦殼皮身不難拆開又可食到蝦肉的爽,蝦殼似擋開了油份令炸過後的賴尿蝦肉入口不覺多油5) 糕蟹糯米飯糕蟹$188一隻,其實也不清楚價錢是貴是便宜,但與家人同行定要盡情地食個夠,倒想看糕蟹“真面目”比預期有點失望,端上台時嗅到糕蟹味不夠,糕蟹不新鮮,肉質有些欄,唯有蟹糕搭夠,略嫌糯米太少了,只有薄薄一層舖在糕蟹底部,而且稍為油膩6) 上湯龍蝦伊麵龍蝦被切得太細件了,個人認為這樣令龍蝦肉質感欠爽

可惜當日蟶子沒有貨,所以未能試到豉椒炒蟶子


幫我們計算海鮮價的大叔很好招呼,最後果盤是鮮甜菠蘿與哈蜜瓜,菠蘿十分鮮甜,菠蘿是我喜歡水果之一,所以我更大膽地叫大叔送多一碟,大叔果然送多一碟
