To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

一心想食好好味嘅菠蘿油，由入去個下見到我大肚仲叫我坐卡坐一邊，本身諗住算啦唔食。好在咁岩有人走，叫嘢食啦，叫左一個菠蘿油，一個炒飯，之後問我飲咩，我再叫多2件蛋撻。隔咗一陣又黎問我飲咩，係咁講最低消費飲品一杯。我叫咗咁多嘢食，都過左最低消費啦，都算啦，見佢話炒粉麵飯可以半價配嘢飲一杯，就叫個美綠。又唔同我講清楚，淨係講跟餐12，單叫24，你由頭到尾都無叫餐。我想再問清楚唔係半價咩，佢就指住：都話每位最低消費飲品一杯。姐係你同我講每位必須叫飲品一杯，咁咪大家都清楚明白。態度差都算，食物又唔好食，又細碟，美綠唔夠味。唔會再去食！！
