To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

巴之閉的食店！後悔光顧... (送上離奇怪事一則)

兩個人叫了兩碗米線，一辣一唔辣。另叫了口水雞翼。所有食物的味道不過不失。但我們已不會再回來光顧，亦會叫其它朋友不要光顧，因為發生了幾件事。1. 漏單... 食住碗米線等雞翼到，叫阿姐 1 號 幫忙跟跟，佢好忙架，轉過頭就理得我啦。 再叫阿姐 2 號，先幫我跟到。雞翼上時碗米線都差不多食完。2. 食了一兩隻雞翼後，已飽，打算打包帯走。本身個人重視環保，常自備外賣盒。當我們把雞翼放入盒後，奇怪的事情開始發生…阿姐 3 號 突然走過來話 : 「 口水雞唔可以帯走架！」我話 : 「點解唔得？自己嘅野嚟。」佢就話 : 「口水雞只限堂食，不設外賣!」我話 : 「我依家只係食唔晒拎走喳。」佢就堅持話唔得。 算，我食埋走。食食吓，第二個阿姐走過嚟又同我講同一樣野，原來係之前嘅阿姐 1 號 (乜佢唔係好忙架咩？)這種怪事怪規矩，你聽過没有？後話；坐我們前面的食客帯寵物內進，為何阿姐們又冇講野？不是法例規定唔可以嗎？( 利申: 我自己有養狗。)
