To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 久不久會吃太興一次, 今日點了瀛風味淋燒豬爽肉和蝦醬蝦乾介蘭煲 - 整體算是不錯, 因自己口味徧淡, 所以覺得稍鹹(如喜愛濃味者, 應會覺得很美味).豬爽肉 - 很香口,應該是放了不同香料烹調;肉身比一般吃到的林,口感較接近叉燒;伴碟的木耳應該是浸了果醋之類的東西,酸中帶淡淡清甜,很醒胃.介蘭煲 - 蝦醬和蝦乾都很惹味, 介蘭苗很嫩. 只是上菜時有點"嚇人", 因為個煲大到有成6-8人份量! 不過一開蓋......(見圖:幾两菜洗唔洗咁大個煲上?而且個煲條裂痕大到有汁的話都會流曬出黎.)開業25年,應該久不久還會再吃一次.
