To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 新嘅一年,最大嘅喜訊莫過於有新生命嘅誕生,仲要係老友嘅BB出世。所以朝早就約晒大家一齊去探佢同啊嫂,仲有BB。咁去之前梗係要醫肚同埋傾下買咩去探佢地好。見呢度裝修完就過黎睇下質素有無變先。由排隊攞籌到入座,足足一個鐘。估唔到咁旺場,明明之前唔是咁的。一坐低,照舊送上一碟腌菜。味道依然好食,雲耳,青瓜,咸菜都腌得啱啱好,咸甜酸平衡。係一道出色嘅開胃菜。之後其他點心陸續上枱,馬拉糕是飲茶必點的,因為微甜嘅鬆軟蒸糕,係本人至愛。燒賣千篇一律係正常茶樓水準,無甚特別。反而係呢個香芋飽,芋頭餡香,滑,甜。算係水準之作。蝦餃皮薄,入口彈牙。香煎粉粿,入面嘅韮菜餡依然香濃,調味恰到好處。但油煎差左少少,太油淋淋了。奶皇煎堆仔。炸得香口不油膩,不過個餡就甜左啲了,一粒已覺''流''。最後再點左碟香滑腸粉,呢個已經係老友之間嘅共識,如果有人仲未食飽嘅就會點呢樣呢度嘅腸粉唔知點解,一條已經令人滿足的了,可能佢夠普通、平凡。臨埋單前我地幾個都走開左令侍應姐姐以為我地已結帳離開,並開始執枱。點知見誤會左就送上幾杯功夫茶,話係送嘅。其實係我地令佢搞錯嘅,我地唔好意思就真。
