To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 翠華餐廳 (欣榮商場)📍土瓜灣馬頭角道33號欣榮商場地下8-10號舖今日到訪朋友響欣榮花園嘅家中作客,朋友提議到樓下這間翠華餐廳醫肚。呢間翠華餐廳幾大間,門口同招牌好顯眼,店内裝修有點工業風格,坐位以卡位為主,坐位之間闊落,客人坐得舒服。店員推介他们的鐵板牛柳,上枱嘅時候,蒜蓉汁系另上嘅,客人可自行倒入鐵板上面,食鐵板最有趣相信就系呢個倒汁動作。牛柳軟嫩多汁,配上濃郁的蒜蓉醬汁及蒜蓉,香氣四溢十分下飯。羅宋湯湯底濃郁,酸度剛好,開胃又不會過於油膩。神之窩蛋叉燒飯,色香味俱全,叉燒肉質嫩滑,蜜汁包住整件叉燒,叉燒邊位微微燒焦,配搭滑溜嘅窝蛋,蛋汁流溢,令人回味。。脆"嘩"奶油豬雖然分量好大一個(2件),外層酥脆,內裡軟熟,沾點煉奶,非常好味。
