[#sheungwan] [#hforwesternfood] 我愛慢煮 7.5/10 finally got the chance to have lunch with colleagues after showsss and finally got to try this popular western restaurant at Sheung Wan! Long queues as usual as any restaurant during lunch, sadly their Shrimp Roll and French Duck Confit were sold out, we ordered 5 sets of set lunch as follows - All Day Breakfast with Flat Iron Steak & All Day Breakfast with Flat Half Lobster- with onsen egg, portobello, cherry tomato, baked beans, toasts and salad and

- with onsen egg, portobello, cherry tomato, baked beans, toasts and salad and fries
- the steak and lobster were not bad and can live up to its price for only HK$128
- but portion of the sides were too small, the toasts were toast crackers, so it was not fulfilling
Texas BBQ Pork Belly with Fries
- the pork belly is super awesome and fabulous!!!!! As you can see its so juicy as its sous vide but there was so much fat.... but its really good so better if you could share with somebody
Grilled Half Chicken with Onsen Egg and Waffle
- nothing surprising or memorable, onsen egg is in fact a little bit weird and i dont think it matches the waffle at all
Overall, I think this restaurant is a bit overrated, portion sizes were all quite small, and the onsen eggs made it difficult for people to share. I personally do not really like the decorations there and its too dark for me. But yes, the pork belly was so good haha which made me still remember it until now.
