To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 來個遲的午餐, 過了午飯時間, 沒有等候, 立即入座 對著餐牌, 有點驚喜原來這裡有午餐menu的, 之前來過吃晚飯, 所以不知道午餐的存在, 怎樣也好, 我們點了兩份一試雞肉是雞柳, 很容易被煎得恰到好處, 煎起脹卜卜, 吃下彈牙爽口豬頸肉煎得要點技巧, 因為邊煎會邊捲起, 所以要切記按著, 那就會能平均的煎熟, 品質方面, 入口都不錯, 都很爽口, 很香口牛肉很正常, 有點兒厚, 但味道都不錯, 不過有少許牛羶味牛肋肉則很美味, 很易煎, 又香又脆口, 果然是推介白飯不夠熱, 有點兒不夠軟綿, 清湯很清香, 讚的呢!全肉宴都不是味兒, 總要加些蔬菜才像樣, 茄子, 雞脾菇, 冬菇, 粟米, 黃瓜等全都不錯, 預先放在爐邊, 慢慢煎著, 留著中間位置煎肉, 到中段便開始有各種蔬菜可吃, 時間剛剛好呢!服務還可, 有進步空間, 較高級的職員稍為多禮, 較醒目
