To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

2017除夕夜我哋選擇咗人少嘅西營盤食晚餐,本來諗住去一間頗有名氣嘅台灣食肆,點知當天提早四點收爐,我們最後搵咗一間餐廳,見門口餐牌價錢唔貴,於是入咗去試吓。這是一間80年代格局嘅舊式西餐廳,裝修平實,內裏空間不大,座位只有十數張枱,若果坐滿客人,感覺非常擠迫。我們點了三個套餐,餐湯羅宋湯,主菜有蒜蓉牛柳,法式燒羊架和芝士海鮮焗飯,甜品則是啫喱,還有咖啡或茶。單單就餐廳格局就吾會對食物抱有好大嘅期望,但係食落又有啲驚喜。除了份量足外,羅宋湯雖然碗中餸料不多,但湯底濃郁,茄味十足。羊架和牛扒勝在燒得外面有些焦燶,而肉質嫩滑,肉汁豐富。海鮮焗飯飯底味道唔錯,但唯獨是材料有些「行」,雖有蝦肉、蜆肉、魚粒,還有鳳鳴卷片、蟹柳粒、青豆和紅蘿蔔粒,但全都是雪藏食品。奶茶夠香濃,拍得上大排檔出品。結賑單只是草草寫上總額,吾知以前D餐廳係吾係興咁樣呢!有咁嘅食物質素價錢亦唔貴,難怪我眼見多數是街坊熟客仔。
