難得小妮子與小伙子有空陪我們一整天,由中午直落至晚餐,心知這種日子得來不易,來日可預計的路大多是出國讀書,然後拍拖,結婚,工作等,那有兒女長大後還日夜陪伴身傍,始終有一天會離開自己,有機會便要珍惜。天氣轉涼了,我為他們往添置寒衣後,便到金鐘吃飯。甫坐下,侍應沒有硬銷我們要「有氣」或「無氣」的水,祇是輕輕帶過,這較有些地方動輒飲水也要一百幾拾來得「條氣順」,而且頻頻為我們添麵包,皆因小伙子對其雀肉甚感興趣,塗滿麵包吃完一個又一個,而我對那些薄脆片較有好感。由於天氣已是入冬,餐牌上已有野味供應,這方面我還是較喜歡吃蛇王二,對西洋野味興趣不大。最後,我們點了三文魚拼盤頭盤,海鱸魚,石斑,燴牛尾和大蝦燴麵,加一個炒雜菌。頭盤是一個三文魚和鱒魚的組合,三款三文魚各有特色,三文魚他他是將三文魚剁碎,味道較清淡,凍燻三文魚配其沙律菜墊底,汁醬酸酸的,甚開胃,而另一件熱燻三文魚則有西柚肉襯托,肉質較嫩,兩者互相匹配,叫人開顏,味道較重的油浸鱒魚則留至最後才吃,肉質雖粗,但配上酸果子的果膠也令人刺激食慾。大蝦配幼條麵,一送到面前已嗅到濃濃的龍蝦味,原來是用了甲殼類的海產熬汁,幼條麵是自家製、手切的,爽口

大蝦配幼條麵,一送到面前已嗅到濃濃的龍蝦味,原來是用了甲殼類的海產熬汁,幼條麵是自家製、手切的,爽口,每條粗幼均勻,吃得出主理人的心機。我們吃慣爽口彈牙的蝦,對此碟大蝦的評價是稍嫌過火,變得有點硬,伴碟的火箭菜,味道卻能中和濃烈的蝦味。

海鱸魚煎得剛熟,肉質非常滑,小妮子慷慨地讓我細嚐一小件,加上開心果忌廉汁,味道很好,配菜有幾款菌類也很清新。石斑魚也煎得香噴噴,肉質鮮美爽口,小伙子讚不絕口,我嚐了一小塊,皮是紅色的,應是星斑之類,難得西式煮法也這麼出色。慢燴牛尾味道非常濃郁,肉和骨輕輕一挑即開,相信用了頗長時間烹製,才有此效果,肉質已化作一縷絲絲,配上薯蓉也不覺膩。炒雜菌更是精采,有幾種名貴的菌類,炒得夠鑊氣,份量亦不少,賣六十元算合理。

飯後的 petit fours 有朱古力條和榛子條,肉桂味濃,兩小碟子,很快便被我們掃光,侍應很慷慨想為我們添加,但都被我婉拒了,少吃多滋味嘛!
