To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 茶餐廳必食莫過於西多士($35),雖然好多茶記都有西多,但喺金記冰室呢個西多士別有一番風味。由於每份西多士都喺即叫即整,凡叫外賣的都要等10-15分鐘。師傅將西多士的外皮炸得金黃酥脆,值得一讚嘅喺西多士就算外賣返屋企,都唔會流失原有嘅香脆,相信師傅俾咗好多心機。切開入面內層花生醬的夾心,咬落去有一粒一粒嘅原粒花生,用料十足,吃落去增添不少口感。另外仲叫咗半份鹽焗雞($118),不得不說嘅喺金記為食客選用最新鮮的食材,肉質嫩滑,脂肪豐滿,味道鮮美,有別於一般的冰鮮雞。師傅喺整作過程中別出心裁,仔細地考慮放在焗爐中悶熱的温度和時間,令非調味的鹽焗咸味唔單止停留喺表面的雞皮,仲滲透至雞肉入面。總括言而,金記餐廳食材新鮮豐富,師傅烹調技巧高超,無論堂食定外賣,都會喺不錯的選擇!
