To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 有幸參與嶺南一活動之聚會,會後假飯堂設自助餐,令我有機會細嚐這裡的各式食物。飲品除可樂、雪碧和芬達外,還有熱騰騰的檸檬茶,幫忙的飯堂阿姨服務很是不錯。食物有茄汁腸仔、啫喱、芒果布甸、咖喱角、春卷、椒鹽豬扒、炸魚柳、羅漢齋、炒飯、白汁意粉等,其中挑選幾款細評如下:咖喱角及春卷 - 吃下時已冷卻,應該是預先炸好了所致 ; 餡料有股焦燶的味道,若非在珍惜食物的原則下,早已被我棄掉。啫喱 - 味道合格,如平時吃開的一樣沙律 - 在所有食物中唯一令我再添吃之食物,薯仔和生果跟沙律醬份量恰到好處亦沒有出水之情況,不俗炒椰菜 - 醬油太多及味道有點怪異,即使想吃菜也因太油膩而卻步炸魚柳 - 炸得金黃,賣相不俗;細嚐下發現已冷掉,而且只有炸漿未有魚肉在內,又一發現中伏之食物說實話,飯堂的食物屬一般偏向劣之評級,沒有再回頭光顧的誘因 ;整頓飯令人可喜的是嶺南學生的質素,吃剩的食物甚多,他們大多響應呼籲把剩食用盒剩起帶走,避免浪費,實在值得諸位仿效呢!
