To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 原來而家去北京樓食鴨有新規定,需要客人等足45分鐘,先至有得食,佢話即時烤俾你😳所以要慢慢等,落單時無講,其他食物好快上枱!唔明一間以賣烤鴨出名的店舖,真的要接到order 先製造,怕堆積存貨嗎?還是要製造排隊等位的場面,因為食招牌食物就要等。等。等再講侍應就更加本事,佢地個個埋頭苦幹,清場最要緊(唔好阻住,因為要收工,清場)見妳唔到,想揾佢地加茶水,免啦⋯⋯早幾個月前新世紀間店,一落單,不用15分鐘就有鴨上枱!終於等左48分鐘先有得食,順帶一提,員工幫客片鴨的時候,不停與另一員工傾計,更沒有配戴任何口罩,以確保最低衛生程度!😓下次一定唔會再光顧😡餐前小食,味道還可以! 3分菜苗份量比較足,味道3分黃魚上桌的時間,只是微温,不脆,魚細小,得2分等了45分鐘的主角終於出場,鴨烤得不夠脆,還帶著冰鮮味,是解凍不夠吧!得1分,差,差,差!整體食物分數只可給2分吧!令人失望的一餐😡
