久不久要與好友們一聚,來到沙田方便住在這區的朋友,選了來酒店吃自助餐,可邊吃邊等,挺方便的。餐廳地方廣闊,想不到不是週末餐廳也坐滿了一大半,自助餐區也是頗大的, 近門口處是甜品區,讓大家可先「嚐點甜頭」!左邊接著是沙律區,冷盤,海鮮,淥粉麵區,熱盤,另一邊是刺身。撇除要回本不回本的心理因素,吃自助餐吃冷盤,海鮮是一般的做法,先冷後熱,先取些日本刺身,鮑魚,大蝦,蜆,長腳蟹和龍蝦,海鮮的鮮甜永遠使人迷醉,其實還有翡翠螺和青口,麵包蟹等,只是見好即收,因為我沒有像牛一樣有四個胃, 而西式的冷盤和中式的涼菜也兼備,實在難得,因年長的朋友不太喜歡吃沙律等物, 四喜烤麩,桂花蕃茄,陳醋雲耳,香糟鳳爪和貢菜,老友記見到一定笑咪咪,我喜歡挾幾片煙三文魚, 風乾火腿和 小八爪魚 ,而沙律很精致, 甜菜頭沙律,蘋果合桃沙律,豬頸肉沙律 ,薯仔沙律都是我喜歡的。熱盤區的選擇有令我側目的臘味糯米飯,偌大的蒸籠蒸著,相信足夠五十人享用,飯面鋪滿臘味碎,旁邊放有豉油,花生,蔥粒,我鮮見自助餐有臘味糯米飯,情不自禁來一小碗,繼而進攻原條蒸魚和大頭蝦 ,皆因魚,我所欲也!大頭蝦長滿膏,就算吃了變大頭蝦也無所謂, 燒

轉戰其餘熱盤,勁多我喜歡的菜式,較特別的有包貝扒時蔬,滋味口感佳,醬爆海螺牛肉,海螺配牛肉配搭新奇, 陳皮燴鴨脯,最愛有陳皮的菜式,氣味獨特,燴鴨最宜,而冰梅醬雞球,蕉葉紅魚,玫瑰豉油雞,燒排骨 和燒鴨,都做得出色,鐵板扒爐的多春魚,香腸, 燒菠蘿,粟米,牛仔骨,脆炸雞件是年青好友的選擇,印度菜式也灑家,蔬菜咖哩,香味飯, 飽了!

就算飽了,也要吃一碗菜以免吃得太多肉,均衡飲食尤為重要,多種材料配搭的粉麵檔,肉丸,魚丸,肉片,菜蔬,粉絲,熱騰騰,暖胃暖心。

甜品是這餐廳的強項也不為過,先說長輩喜歡的中式甜品,有豆腐花,雪耳紅棗百合糖水,芝麻糕,合桃酥,桂花糕等,西式甜品更是星羅棋布,朱古力噴泉,生果 ,栗子奶凍, 奧利奧奶凍 ,忌廉泡芙,咖啡蛋布甸,黑森林, tiramisu,林明頓, 紅桑子慕絲 ,栗子瑞士卷, 布朗尼蛋糕, 士多啤梨果撻, 麵包布甸, 野莓芝士布甸 ,Haagen Dazs雪糕 ,我差不多每樣都試了一件,或與好友共享半件。
