To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

平日下午經過，見到冇乜人，就入去試吓馳名嘅金華冰廳。坐低即刻要嗌嘢食，俾我諗吓食乜都得掛？因為係下午茶，唔想食咁多嘢，所以散嗌左個蛋撻同埋凍檸茶，阿姐即刻面露不悅。Fine，我都唔expect茶餐廳有服務㗎喇，諗住嗱嗱臨食完即刻走。蛋撻都未放落口，就聽到後邊阿姐話我嗌咁小野。下午時段又唔係多人，我食個蛋撻都係5分鐘啫，都唔會好阻住你生意啊？更何況你又唔係滿座，點解要歧視一啲嗌得小野嘅客人呢？蛋撻係好食嘅，不過無下次。
