To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 近期天氣雖然逐漸回暖但溫早晚溫差都幾大所以又有藉口去打邊爐暖下身在 “口袋清單” 找出勁有懷舊風格的 - 火水爐對於從未接觸火水爐的我來說感覺好新穎除卻一系列懷舊的裝修外碗筷亦都添上歲月的痕跡前菜小食 - 以為係啲咩花生、酸菜, 原來係魚蛋 + 懷舊炸魚球 (當時仲諗緊...咦! 我地未叫火鍋配料呀!)招牌鮑魚麻辣雞煲 - 小辣雞煲上枱後要再煮5分鐘先可享用雞件醃得濃味...但幾適合重口味的我雞件肉夠鮮嫩, 鮑魚亦無令人失望食完雞煲就轉台去打邊爐喇湯底方面 ~ 放棄了我們最愛的麻辣鍋因為被招牌特濃沙嗲鍋吸引了沙嗲味道不算濃郁偶爾會聞到花生的香味時令海鮮拼盤海鮮款式會按當晚食材而作出調節今晚我地有沙白、廣島蠔、脆鯇片、蝦、花甲雖然任食, 但質素都有一定水準美國安格斯牛, 西班牙黑豚豬肉各類丸子、餃類、炸物、蔬肉最最最重要係汽水任飲 ~ 打邊爐最緊要有....最後仲有個雜果涼粉紅豆冰紅豆煮得夠腍夠入味 ~ 有誠意仲有大量我好鍾意食嘅雜果
