This place is my favourite place for 魚蛋粉! Of course, it is close to where I live but most importantly, its so delicious! I love their 辣椒油 so much. I should really buy a jar and put it in my fridge at home. I ordered a 魚蛋粉加腩汁. Yumm ! The 魚蛋s were bouncy and fresh. The 魚片 was likewise: deep-fried on the outside, they were even better in texture. But the best is definitely their 河粉. So soft and silky smooth. They are the thin kinds which make them even more soft in texture. LOVEEEEE! ESPECIALLY wit
The 通菜 was also great with the beancurd sauce. I asked to omit the oil though, because it tends to be a little too oily for me. Like this, it was perfect! Great to eat with a bowl of noodles.
Their 魚皮 was crispy and flavourful, great combination with the hot soup and noodles.
The restaurant itself is quite big but not so spacious as the tables are tightly packed. It is normal to have to share tables with other people because they are quite packed all the time. The inside is bright and air-conditioned (you might even need a thin jacket) so not bad for a noodle shack. The chairs are not so comfortable, but no ones there to sit and chat! The service is very efficient as they are all very familiar with their jobs.
I'm their loyal fan and will be for the time being. Being a huge noodle fanatic, I have frequent cravings and they never disappoint me at anytime! I come here almost once a week and have grew to love this place.
