To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 有時候,蜜桃小丸子會突然很想食鴨鴨,特別是北京烤鴨,喜歡自己包著包著地吃,很有趣。由於友人有信用卡優惠,星期一至四到美心集團的食肆有半價優惠,所以蜜桃小丸子又再發揮小師奶精神,去食抵野。繼海港城後,到了附近星光行的北京樓吃晚餐。地方很大,但樓底不算高,坐得靠窗一點便可看到維港。由於一隻鴨的份量都頗多,所以我們就只點了一隻鴨和餃子,避免製造廚餘浪費食物。羊肉餃子沒有特別拍照,因為覺得不太好吃。重點還是我的烤鴨鴨,師傅會在你枱邊慢慢將肉一片片批出來,餅皮剛剛蒸起頗溫暖,把一片鴨肉、一些蔥和青瓜包在一起,配上少少甜醬,在口中既有鴨肉的酥香,又有蔥的少刺激,還有青瓜的清新,口感十分豐富,鴨肉的質量十分好,肥得剛剛好,少少油而又有肉地,正!
