To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天是家庭日,當然晚上一家三口去潮庭吃潮州菜,公司出了花紅獎金,當然要請爸爸媽媽大吃一頓!我的最愛是杏汁燉豬肺湯,品道清甜,豬肺很爽口,我和爸爸都喝光光了!頭盤是鵝掌鵝翼,這味招牌菜令我百吃不厭,我覺得很入味,鵝掌鵝翼很新鮮,味道很濃,伴酒剛剛好!煎蠔烙今晚有点遜色,蛋煎得較簿身,蠔仔又較小,但很多,因客人太多,所以不是太熱,我較喜歡熱辣辣!潮州富貴木桶飯很香口,很夠獲氣,媽媽吃到停不了口!唯一有点美中不足是酒香紅炆肋骨,份量較少,入醃得不夠味,有少少失望!杏仁茶是我和爸爸最愛的,保養皮膚就最好了,我每次也得喝上一碗!今晚真抵吃,才八百元,吃得開心,吃得值得!
