To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今次一行五人想去打邊爐,咁有次係旺角見到呢間既裝修幾特別,就係 openrice book 位,咁岩預訂就送一份花膠雞煲,所以就決定試一試。平日晚飯時間都不至於要排好耐先有位, 去到門面環境都很整潔。入座後,枱與枱之間都比較近,所以感覺較迫,但侍應態度都好好。跟住先黎一碟炸魚旦燒賣前菜,不過燒賣內裡還是凍的,所以我地只食魚旦。到咗最期待既花膠雞煲,上枱既賣相唔係咁吸引,但食落都唔係太差喎,只要將花膠同雞煲既少少辣溝勻,味道都唔錯。之後,我地揀咗鴛鴦湯底(涼瓜排骨湯及冬陰公湯底) 涼瓜排骨出面打邊爐都好少見,食落清清地,感覺好似可以下火咁;而冬陰公就真係比較辣,不過味道就一般。呢碟手切牛就真係夠厚喇,不過唔知係煮得太耐定點呢?感覺有點韌跟住我地仲點咗肥牛,生根,魚皮,菜同丸,大致上同一般打邊爐既餐廳一樣,無咩特別。最後,呢個海鮮拼盤都唔錯,每樣都好新鮮,好味。其實去到最後個個都飽到食唔哂既時侯,我地都堅持食埋呢個飯後甜品「紅豆雜果涼粉冰」,好彩有要咋,可能真係打完邊爐關係,呢碟野好搶手,一陣就食咋喇!出奇地好味~不過個日咁岩隔離枱成班男士可能飲酒又加上太興奮關係啦,嘈到成晚我地完全聽唔到
