There was an all-you-want-eat self-serviced counter at the corner with aprons (so considerate of them), seasoning for the steak including 燒汁& garlic, Japanese beef soup, plain rice, and Japanese-style salad with yuzu and sesame dressing at your own choice.

While we were waiting for our steak, we first grabbed a bowl of salads for ourselves. The salad was simple yet ingredients were so fresh. It was basically chopped cabbages with some cherry tomatoes. Great with the sesame dressing which I liked. I had a few full bowls!

The Japanese beef soup was super super hot! It tasted like HK style Russian soup with loads of fresh sliced carrots, radish and fatty beef slices. Quite a good treat to warm yourself up! It was not overly greasy at all and tasted pretty home-made!

The steak were served to us very soon. They were both covered by a sheet of paper towel fixed by a toothpick. They looked so well presented on the hot stone. We were told that they were cooked by 10% and we could cut them into smaller pieces to grill them ourselves to the extent we like. I liked it because it was 又玩又食!You could tell from the photos that the steak were pretty nice - tender and juicy and rich in beef flavour with crispy crust. They were well seasoned already so you could eat without any extra seasoning they provided. The tenderloin was really tender yet the cheaper was also good. My lunch partner said the tenderloin was better but I really found both nice.

As we shared the tenderloin first, this steak had been cooked for quite a while when we were about to eat it. Yet I found it still pretty tender and juicy. And this one was cheaper at $80 only.
If you want, they also provided salt and steak pepper etc on table for you to eat with the steak.
In short, a very interesting experience of grilling steak at your own service. With such quality of steak, it was really quite cheap. I wish I worked and lived on the Kowloon side because there is no branches on the island side!
