To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 知道牛角燒肉在午餐時段比較優惠,趁今日中午有空便前來光顧,二點多仍有小人龍坐滿門口的長椅,等了十多分鐘便輪到我們,地方及座位頗闊落感覺舒適,而且不限時可以慢慢燒慢慢坐這個套餐用指定信用咭有優惠,有沙津,又有幾款食物及包2杯飲品,又真係幾抵就落單了。依餐牌所見這個叫羽衣甘藍沙津,個名比較特別,於是我上網一查,羽衣甘藍係就係個菜名,咬落比較硬身,配上堅果及芝士粒,但係個沙津醬很咸,食了幾塊就沒有再食了燒物上場,牛舌比較薄身口感不夠 ;豬頸肉厚切有口感而且咬落爽脆,與雞肉和牛肉都相當美味,尤其牛肉很腍很有肉味,整體十分滿意。最後配上荔枝特飲,冰凍又帶濃濃的荔枝甜飲,為之前稍稍的熱氣及油膩降溫,簡單悠閒的下午茶,實是滿足
